Accessing the AppXtender Doc ID in the Document Manager and Web

AppXtender assigns a unique document ID (Doc ID) to each document. If you need to review the audit trail for a specific document then you will need the Doc ID, which is not exposed by default.

AppXtender Web
You will need change the web setting to expose the document Id. There is no harm in doing this system wide in the admin module as shown below, change changing the Show Document ID setting to True and then press the Save button.



Users will need to log out and then back for the changes to take effect. The Document ID will be displayed in the search results.



AppXtender Document Manager
To access the Document ID in the Document Manager, right-click on the column headings in the search results and select Settings as shown below:
